A father and son duo embark on a mission to transform the day-to-day reality of separated families.
Noam Katz’s experience with divorce left him determined to stay connected and deeply involved in his children’s lives. He wanted to be there for them when they needed him and to connect when he missed them. What hurt the most was the radio silence between calls.
As a technologist, Noam set out to design and build a tool that would help keep him connected with his kids. The seed of the idea was a virtual place where Noam could leave notes and video messages for his children and take turns playing games.
As the idea took shape, Noam quickly realized that he was solving a real pain for many parents who spent time away from their children. When Noam shared his idea with fellow parents, the reaction was immediate: “I wish this existed years ago”.
Noam then shared the idea with his father, Eli, who realized that the universe had come full circle. Thirty years earlier he had experienced the same challenges staying connected with Noam, and was thrilled for the opportunity to help other parents everywhere.
That’s when ParentCubby was born. With insights from child psychologists, the two further enhanced the concept, embarking on a mission to transform the day-to-day reality of two-household families.
ParentCubby is a labor of love, driven by the desire to facilitate meaningful connections between parents and their children.
